Quick answers

Common questions

Does RKash connect to my bank or credit cards?

No. RKash does not connect to financial institutions and will never ask for financial passwords. You enter and maintain your own information.

Where is my financial information stored?

Your saved financial records stay on your iPhone. RKash does not send those records to us, and we cannot access them. Never enter account numbers, card numbers, PINs, security codes, or passwords.

What can I record?

RKash records expenses, income, transfers between accounts, and refunds. You can mark an entry as Actual when money has moved or Planned when it is expected later.

What is “Month So Far”?

Month So Far is actual income minus actual expenses for the current month. A qualifying refund can reduce the expense total.

What is the difference between Planned and Actual?

Planned entries help you see what you expect. Actual entries affect current balances and Month So Far. You can switch the Home transaction list and Activity details between Planned and Actual.

How do recurring transactions work?

RKash creates planned entries for active recurring items without making duplicates. A fixed-amount recurring entry becomes Actual automatically on its due date. Editing, pausing, or deleting the recurring setup changes future entries without rewriting past history.

What if the amount changes each time?

When creating a recurring item, choose “Amount varies each time.” RKash can prepare the planned entry, but you must enter the amount before recording it as an actual transaction.

Can I enter transactions by voice?

Yes. Tap the microphone on Home and speak the transaction details. RKash prepares an entry for you to review. Voice entry can also prepare a recurring item. Apple’s speech-recognition service may process spoken words according to your device settings, so never speak sensitive financial information.

Can RKash read information aloud?

Yes. Tap the speaker on Home to hear the current financial summary. The built-in Home help can also be read aloud.

What alerts can RKash provide?

If you enable Payment and Balance Alerts, RKash can notify you about upcoming credit-card payments and possible bank or cash shortages. Press and hold an alert to choose “Remind in 30 Min.” Always verify payment dates and balances yourself.

Can I organize spending with categories and budgets?

Yes. RKash includes Categories & Budgets, where you can maintain income and expense categories and add monthly budget amounts.

Can I undo a deletion?

When “Show Undo After Delete” is enabled in Settings, RKash offers Undo for five seconds after deleting a transaction or recurring item.

Is RKash financial advice?

No. RKash is a personal organization tool, not financial, accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice. Always verify balances, transactions, due dates, and reminders with your financial institutions.

What should I include in a support request?

Include your iPhone model, iOS version, RKash version, the screen you were using, and a short description of what happened. Never send passwords, account numbers, card numbers, PINs, or security codes.
